These carefully prepared frosting sheets work perfectly with edible inks and come with a peel-off backing that is easy to remove when you are ready to apply the printed frosting sheet to your cake. Simply feed the frosting sheet through the printer as you would a regular piece of paper, print with edible ink, and apply the printed frosting sheet to your cake. Frosting sheets are thin and apply easily onto buttercream or whipped cream (preferably). They can also be applied to other cake toppings such as rolled Fondant, chocolate candy or Royal Icing. Their shelf-life once on a cake varies from 1 day (if applied to whipped cream) to a few days (if applied on Royal Icing).
