Edible ink when used with your printer can save your money in due course of time if you do a lot of cake decoration regularly. This way you can save money by making beautifully adorned cakes and personalize cupcakes, cookies and other items at home rather than spending money on buying them pre-made at a store. Using edible ink to create unique designs on your cakes and cookies is not only fun but an excellent way to spend some time with children and family members.
It is important that your edible inks for inkjet printers should be stored properly. When you purchase your edible ink cartridges, they will be capped and sealed in a package. To store the ink, you must save these caps. Edible ink cartridges should be stored in the capped package, upright in a zip-loc bag. Make sure not to refrigerate edible ink cartridges and stored at room temperature. You may also want a place a scotch tape at the top of the cartridge breathing hole.
If you bring home pre-made cake toppers, then these are also stored at room temperature in the package it arrives in. Please store in plastic bag and keep away from light and sunlight as excessive heat will change the colors of your design. Also make sure not to refrigerate your toppers. Other information will be included with the package.
