Inkedibles is now offering a printing service for Print Edible Images<\/a>. Using this service will ensure that you get fresh, beautiful images! All of the Inkedibles custom printed frosting sheets are sealed in vacuum packed, clear re-sealable bags, and since we also coat them after printing (this product will be available through InkEdibles\u2122 soon!) the images are a bit richer in color and luster and the frosting sheets maintain more of their moisture before use – which is a plus for us here in Los Angeles where the climate is very dry. In general try to store frosting sheets in sealed bags as you mentioned, but not in a very dry or warm spot.<\/p>\n

As to the flavor of our Frosting Sheets<\/a>, although ours (and all other frosting sheets) are made with some type of modified starch derived from corn, ours don’t taste overwhelmingly like cornstarch. Our sheets have a very mild, slightly sweet flavor (think about a very faint, hint of the flavor of Juicy Fruit gum). The white and colored frosting sheets, ChromaSheets,\u2122 that we have are meant to be non-invasive to the flavor of your cookies or cakes. Depending how they are attached, they are meant to blend in and absorb the flavor of the base.<\/p>\n

We also carry FlavorSheets\u2122 which are meant to enhance the flavor of your cookies, cakes, marshmallows, cappuccino, or anywhere else you can think to use them. They are not sweetened but are made with very high intensity flavor extracts so, rather than being an independent sweet flavored addition (like chocolate chips would) they add a complimentary flavor to combine with the existing flavor and sweetness of your base. Currently we have chocolate, strawberry (like red licorice), watermelon and pina-colada FlavorSheets\u2122, and we are developing some other great flavors for the holidays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
